The Cyprus Diaspora Forum’25 formally begins today (Thursday)
with a series of panel discussions, following a welcome event held yesterday
evening. The four-day forum, founded by Paul Lambis, brings together members of
the Cypriot diaspora and representatives from Cyprus’ public and private
sectors.
The Forum is taking place at the Filoxenia Conference
Centre. It includes a mix of B2B and B2C activities, with panel discussions,
keynote speeches, and networking sessions scheduled throughout the event.
Forum Attracts Global Business Interest
The opening day included participation from Cypriot
professionals based abroad, alongside local businesses seeking international
connections. The forum has also attracted interest from investors and
individuals assessing economic sectors in Cyprus.
According to organisers, the event serves to highlight
Cyprus as a location for investment and business development, while also
acknowledging the involvement of the diaspora in external engagement.
Attendees include figures from government, academia, media,
and civil society, as well as individuals with ongoing links to Cyprus through
residence or heritage.
